I love holiday entertaining and buying holiday serveware. One of my favorite holiday traditions that I look forward to every year is my annual Cookie Party. I love an evening to get together with my friends and just eat, drink and chat. I start planning my menu probably months in advance. I usually pick a menu depending on the time of day the party starts. Some years I host in the afternoon and then the menu is more of a brunch, but if it is in the evening I try and serve some hearty appetizers!
In years past, favorites have been my famous baked brie with apricot chutney, tomato soup shooters with homemade parmesan crisps, homemade churros, holiday charcuterie boards and my favorite Costco appetizers!
After food, I love picking out platters and serveware. I usually add a piece (or two) to my collection each year.
