Welcome to my blog and my very first blog post! I live in Las Vegas with my daughter and our very naughty Goldendoodle. I love all things baking, seasonal decor and DIY design. Since my very first apartment back in college, I have been painting the walls (they made me paint them back) and hunting down decor at my favorite stores. I love to share my finds with my friends and family who have gotten so good at looking interested that I thought other people might be too!

My mom really was that mom doing all the crafts and doing her own home improvements long before the internet made it look easy or was around to give you hundreds of ideas. I still don’t know how she came up with all her craft ideas or where she learned to patch a wall and hang wallpaper without the help of YouTube.

I am a lawyer by day, but at night and on the weekends, I am trying to bake my own cakes from scratch, put up shelves and re-do my bathroom. I have to admit that I am quick to have ideas and quick to buy supplies, but often have 15 projects going on at one time. I just have so many ideas! I decided to start a place where I could showcase some of those ideas that I actually complete and give me a little motivation to finish those I haven’t.

I can’t wait to start sharing my ideas, whether it’s for an easy recipe you can make with kids, my best seasonal decor finds or maybe one of my more ambitious home improvement projects that may never get done. Can’t wait for you to follow along!
